HIL — Power Hardware-in-the-Loop Tests
Real-time simulation and power converters are converging into the field known as Power Hardware-in-the-Loop (PHIL).
In some applications, a real-world system is simulated on a real-time basis and then emulated — converted into real voltage, current and power. This emulation is performed by a power converter that transforms the reference signal generated by the real-time simulator into a voltage or current waveform. Real faults can be injected or switched to stress the DUT or system.
Many of our models have this functionality, and some of our instruments include power-amplifier functionality that can be used in PHIL applications. They can be addressed via interfaces like MODBUS and LAN/LXI. Advanced HIL testing solutions with high-performance verification systems streamline your development process while ensuring reliable and accurate results.
